Perhaps he owns Apple stock. While I’m not a cutting-edge tech person, I’m reasonably tech-savvy and the changes from the iphone 4 to the 4s seemed like more than a “minor upgrade” to me. I think the 4+ million who have signed up for the new iphone over the weekend must also think it is more than a modest upgrade or they would have saved themselves some money and bought the cheaper iphone 4.

So, after brief affairs with Android (the Samsung Galaxy S, which was a great piece of hardware, saddled with the already obsolete and cumbersome Froyo) and with webOS (I was curious), I’m ready to come back into the fold. The iPhone 4S doesn’t make much sense for current iPhone 4 owners, but it will be leaps and bounds above anything I’ve had recently. I can’t wait!
