Yep, agreed—I’d be in favor of almost anything that would keep people from snapping away at the Sistine Chapel or the Mona Lisa (after all, it’s pretty hard to appreciate a masterpiece with flashbulbs going off left and right, not to mention the damage being done to the painting itself). But keeping me from taking pictures at a rock concert so the promoters can sell more merchandise? Not crazy about it.
