Very true about the snacks and the ($8) sodas. Totally agreed that Netflix, HDTV and DVD/Blu-ray has changed everything. When I was in college, I went to the movies at least once a week, but that was 20 (!) years ago, back when the alternative to the movie theater was VHS tape. Now that you can get a cinema-like experience at home, I wonder if MoviePass will find many takers.

Netflix has really changed the movie landscape in my opinion…
