Hey there—thanks for the review! One question: how loud is the Mint? I couldn’t really tell at the trade show because of all the background noise.

We have a pretty large two stories house with mostly hardwood and tile floors. I use my Mint for both – sweeping and mopping. We have a baby and two cats who leave plenty of fur all over the place. So far my experience with Mint cleaner is nothing but very positive. I send Mint on a cleaning mission every day, sometimes several times per day. Our house has never looked so clean. Sometimes the little bugger will get stuck in some tight places, though. The upgrades that are announced on 5200 and 5200C models seem to be right what’s needed to make this little boot just about perfect – the possibility to replace a Swiffer cloth in the middle of a cleaning cycle, for example, and also addition of a water tank that will moisten the mopping cloth are very useful. And a faster charging + longer battery life is an obvious improvement. All in all, we are very happy with the first generation Mint, all the initial skepticism is gone by now. We finally gave it a name, since it’s a keeper now.

If only they’d lick up their own dog hair…

That’s a dog.

Yep, might have to get one of these for our place. Would love to hear from a reader who actually owns one of these things, though. Anyone?
