Well, the Fire is $50 cheaper than the $249 Nook Color, and it has the bonus of “cloud” storage for your purchased videos and music. The Nook is also slightly heavier than the Fire (15.8 ounces vs. 14 ounces) and its shell is a tad bigger, yet they both have seven-inch screens.
That said, I’ve yet to do a hands-on, side-by-side comparison between the two, so I can’t recommend one over the other quite yet.

Any Nook Color owners out there who’d like to chime in?
