Yep, agreed—the overpriced memory cards are my least favorite thing about the Vita. I got an 8GB card to go with mine, and it’s already full. Ugh. (And congrats to you too on your little one!)

As we just had a baby boy, (congrats btw on your little girl to come) I’d have trouble convincing my gf that $250+ on a hendheld was a good idea. So i decided i’d trade in the lego batmans, guitar heros…ect. and give the vita a go. Well 250++++ is what i should of said. I got it today, and haven”t been able to try it bc i wasn”t aware that i would need the memory card to do everything!!? so it’s back to the store. so far i’m inpressed with the interface and the natural feel of the thumb sticks. Was told a while back that you”d be able to continue seamlessly playing games from your ps3 to the vita if you had to leave the home for something. Still haven’t seen that feature yet.
