Interesting — and yes, very annoying when iOS takes it upon itself to open an app. Can you try this for me: tap Settings, General, Handoff & Suggested Apps, then turn off the Installed Apps setting. Does that help?

It doesn’t work on my iPhone, but it works on my tablet. Somehow the URL is grabbed by the Amazon app. I am not sure if that’s a setting that can be configured somewhere.
