Buy a T-Mobile phone and sign up for a two-year unlimited voice/texting plan this Saturday, in honor of Father’s Day, and you’ll get a monthly $10 credit for a year on your data plan—meaning you’ll essentially be getting 12 months of free data if you choose the carrier’s cheapest, 200MB-a-month plan.
T-Mobile’s Father’s Day deal applies only to “qualifying” unlimited plans, which start at $69 a month for unlimited voice minutes and texts, plus 200MB of data. (The data portion of the plan makes up a $10 chunk of the overall price, hence the “free data” claim with a $10 credit.)
The year-long, $10 monthly credit will also apply to T-Mobile’s pricier unlimited plans, ranging from $79 a month for unlimited voice/texts and 2GB of monthly data all the way to $119/month for an unlimited bundle with 10GB of data.
The catch? T-Mobile’s Father’s Day promotion will only be available on Saturday, June 18. You must also be a new T-Mobile customer or have 18 months under your belt on your current contract, according to the carrier.

Correction: In the original version of this post, I listed the wrong date for T-Mobile’s one-day Father’s day promotion; it’s Saturday the 18th, not Sunday. Apologies for the goof.
