The Walkman lives—except this time, it’s got Android under the hood. Sony’s high-end NWZ-Z1060 ($250 and up, coming this spring) has a 4.3-inch display, a built-in “S-Master MX” amplifier for an “enriched music experience” (hearing is believing, of course), SenseMe audio technology that picks out music based on your mood, and an HDMI video-out port for connecting the player to your HDTV.
